The Motherhood Photo Shoot Process

  • You are looking for a personal experience. You want someone to truly see you and your people. Each step of the way is crafted to be a unique and personal experience for each mama. Visit my inquiry page here to get started. After you inquire you will receive a email welcome guide from me within 24 hours!

  • Upon booking your session you will receive valuable prep information as well as schedule a zoom meeting where we will discuss what to wear and take a tour of your home! In your prep guide you will find info we discussed in our meeting about how to prepare your home, wardrobe styling, where to shop and a timeline for all your session prep needs. You will also receive an in depth questionnaire, a pivotal piece of preparation for us!

  • Be prepared at your session to get into a laidback mindset and to let go of expectations, especially of your kids. We’ll focus completely on being relaxed and in the moment so you can connect with your babies. Our time together will be easy, meaningful, and intimate, leaving you with genuine and emotive photos in the comfort of your Seattl area home.

  • Within 4 weeks of your photo shoot you will receive an email with a link to your private online gallery where you can view and download your photos. Your gallery is also open to easily order additional photo products. About 2 weeks after your gallery is delivered you can expect your album to be delivered.

Seattle Motherhood Session Investment

Motherhood photoshoots take place in the comfort and privacy of your own Seattle area home. In home sessions are relaxed and intimate allowing for you and your children to be 100% yourselves. You can expect your photoshoot to last up to 90 minutes.

Sessions are for immediate family only and no extended family sessions are available.

  2. pre-session styling consultation,

  3. creative direction during the session,

  4. post session curating and final touches,

  5. all the best photos (50+) delivered in a private online gallery perfect for viewing, downloading and sharing with friends and family,

Why I choose film over digital…

When I started using a camera, digital photography didn’t even exist yet. And although I own professional digital cameras and have used them in the past, film has always held a special place in my heart. Heres why I choose to photograph with film now.

  • Film is tangible. It won’t ever be lost on a corrupt drive or deleted be accident. I still have all the film negatives that I have ever shot but I have lost thousands of digital photos on corrupt hard drives. You won’t ever have to worry about losing your photos with film. They will always be able to be scanned into a digital copy or printed from the negative again.

  • Film photography allows me to be a better photographer for you. I slow down. I pay attention to what’s in front of me and I am more intentional about what I choose to photograph. It has become a bonus to the session experience that I can provide.

  • Film is also an aesthetic choice for me. I love the look it has, the softness and it’s ability to really portray a feeling. Plus the grain of film really gives photos more character and nostalgia! Which I love for you and I.
