If you love the idea of in-home film photography but don’t live near me, I offer a limited number of travel sessions in select cities each year. I bring my cameras to you so your maternity, newborn, motherhood, or family session can happen right where your life is actually happening.

What a travel session includes

A travel session is the same experience I offer in Seattle and Tacoma, just in your city.

  • In-home or on-location session on film

  • Planning support and in-depth questionnaire

  • Collaboration by email or text to shape a session that feels like your life

  • Calm, guided session day with time for breaks and big feelings

  • Curated online gallery with the strongest images

  • Access to prints, framed pieces, and albums

Travel sessions are available for maternity, newborn, motherhood, and family.

How travel fees work

Travel fees are separate from your session fee and are designed to cover the cost of getting to you.

In general, travel fees include:

  • Flight (or mileage if I’m driving)

  • Lodging for at least one night

  • Local transportation if needed (rideshare, rental car, train, etc.)

You’ll always see the travel fee clearly before you sign anything. No surprises.

You can choose between:

  • Flat city fee – when I already have dates planned for your city

  • Custom quote – when we are planning a trip specifically around your session

If multiple families book in the same city and timeframe, I can sometimes split travel fees between you. I’ll let you know if that’s possible when we talk.

Booking a travel session – step by step

1. Reach out with your city and timing

Use the travel form below to share where you live, what kind of session you want, and your general dates or due date. I’ll confirm whether I already have plans to travel to your area or if we’d be building a trip around you.

2. Receive your travel quote

I’ll send you:

  • Session options and pricing

  • A travel fee quote (or range, if flights aren’t booked yet)

  • Possible dates

If you’re local to a city I’m already visiting, I’ll let you know if there’s a flat travel fee and how many spots are available.

3. Reserve your date

When you’re ready, you’ll:

  • Sign a contract that includes travel language

  • Pay your retainer (session retainer + agreed travel fee or a travel deposit, depending on timing)

Once travel is booked, I’ll share the final schedule and confirm your date and time.

4. Session day

I come to your home (or chosen location in your city) and we photograph your session just as I would in Seattle and Tacoma: calm, collaborative, and on film.

5. Your Photos

You’ll receive a curated online gallery and can order prints, framed pieces, and albums just like my local clients.

Policies for travel sessions

Travel session policies

  • Travel fee – Travel fees are non-refundable once flights and lodging are booked, except if I have to cancel the trip on my end.

  • Rescheduling – If you need to reschedule and I’m still coming to your city, we’ll find a new time within the same trip whenever possible.

  • If you cancel – If you cancel after travel is booked, your travel fee is not refunded, and my normal session cancellation policy applies to your session fee.

  • If I have to cancel – If I need to cancel your travel session for any reason on my end, you’ll receive a full refund of any session fees and travel fees you’ve paid.

  • Weather and illness – For in-home sessions, we’re usually fine. If severe weather or illness affects either of us, we’ll talk through options for rescheduling within the trip or adjusting your coverage.
