Intentional Motherhood Photography on film
Because Mothers Deserve to Be Seen
Motherhood sessions are available across Seattle and Tacoma, in your home, my studio, or a meaningful outdoor location. These film-only sessions last about an hour, with simple prompts and gentle direction, and you receive a gallery that centers you and your relationship with your children, which is why many mothers choose The Haiku collection here.

My Approach
What a motherhood session can look like
We might spend a slow morning in your kitchen while your kids climb into your lap. We might walk through a nearby park, holding hands and letting them run ahead and come back. We might stay on your couch the entire time. The setting matters less than the connection.
I guide you into simple positions and invite your children into the moment. You do not have to think about what to do next.
All motherhood sessions are photographed on film. The slower pace helps us move with more intention and keeps the focus on what is actually happening between you and your children.
What to Expect
Planning
Once you inquire, I help you choose the right session, often a Haiku Session or Sonnet Session for fuller stories. You receive a questionnaire that asks about your children, how each of them is right now, and how you want to remember this season.
Collaboration
We plan together through email or text. You can send images, words, or ideas that feel like what you want. Together we choose a location that matches your energy. This might be home, a favorite park, or a place your kids always ask to go.
Session day
You do not need to perform for the camera. I focus on the small things. How you hold them, how they lean into you, the way they look at you when they want comfort. We make space for both the tenderness and the chaos.
THE EXPERIENCE & Investment
“I didn’t know how badly I needed to be seen until I saw these photographs. They’re more than just pictures, they are reminders that I was there, loving them in the small, invisible ways no one else saw.”
