Artful Maternity photography on film
I offer film-only maternity sessions for mothers in Seattle and Tacoma, either in your home, studio, or a favorite outdoor spot. Sessions are about an hour, slow and relaxed, with guidance on what to wear and how to move so you receive a gallery of images of you, your bump, and the people you love, with most mothers choosing my Haiku collection.

My Approach
Presence Over Posing
Maternity sessions with me are not about performing or pretending. They are a space to slow down, to be still, and to connect with your body in this exact season of in-between.
All maternity sessions are photographed on film
Every maternity session is photographed entirely on film. Film slows everything down in the best way. Fewer frames, more intention, and a look that feels timeless and grounded.
What to Expect
Planning together
Once you inquire, I help you choose the right session option, often a Haiku Session or the Ballad maternity and newborn bundle. You receive a questionnaire that goes deeper than basic details so I can understand your relationship, your daily life, and what this pregnancy has been like for you.
Collaboration
We plan your session through email or text. You can share ideas, inspiration, or a simple vision board. I help with timing, location, and wardrobe so everything feels natural and manageable.
Session day
On the day of your session, you do not have to perform. We take our time. I guide you into comfortable positions, encourage movement, and pay attention to the small moments. The way you rest your hands, how your partner looks at you, the way you breathe.
Best between 32–36 weeks
Options: in-home, peaceful outdoor locations, or studio
Always centered on you feeling comfortable, seen, and celebrated
Maternity and newborn bundle
If you already know you want both maternity and newborn photos, the Ballad Session is a bundle that includes one maternity session and one newborn session. Your story is told from waiting to holding, with both chapters connected in the same artistic style.
THE EXPERIENCE & Investment
Maternity Photography Guide
My maternity sessions are for you if:
You want to remember how this time felt, not just how it looked
You prefer simple, relaxed direction instead of stiff posing
You like the idea of being photographed at home or in a place that means something to you
You want photos that still feel like you many years from now
I thought I’d feel awkward being photographed pregnant, but Brooke made me feel like a work of art just by being myself. These images feel Like love letters to future me.
