Maternity Photography on Film

Book a Maternity Session

Film maternity sessions for creative, thoughtful mothers who are tired of generic photos.

You’re pregnant, holding a lot, and the last thing you want is to spend money on photos that look like everyone else’s. I photograph maternity sessions on film for families in Seattle and Tacoma who want images that feel calm, honest, and personal.

You don’t have to pretend this season is perfect. You don’t have to know how to pose. We design your session around your real life so you can actually see yourself in this chapter your kids will one day ask about.

Is a maternity session right for you?

A maternity session might be a good fit if you

  • Want photos that feel like your actual life, not a styled concept

  • Want to be in the frame, not just behind the camera

  • Care about art, but don’t want to feel like you’re acting

  • Want to remember how this time feels, even if it hasn’t been all soft and easy

You don’t have to love every part of pregnancy to want it remembered. This is about giving you and your baby something real to look back on.

What TO KNow

  • Timing – Usually between 28 and 36 weeks, when your belly is showing and you can still move comfortably

  • Location – At home, in studio, or in a simple outdoor spot that feels like you

  • Who to include – Come alone, with your partner, or with your other children

  • How I shoot – Everything is photographed on film for a slower, more intentional pace and a soft, grounded feel

  • What you receive – A curated online gallery with the strongest images

Maternity and newborn bundle

If you already know you want both maternity and newborn photos, the Ballad Session is a bundle that includes one maternity session and one newborn session. Your story is told from waiting to holding, with both chapters connected in the same artistic style.

I thought I’d feel awkward being photographed pregnant, but Brooke made me feel like a work of art just by being myself. These images feel Like love letters to future me.
