The Experience & Investment

“Because you don’t need more images, you need the right ones.”

I photograph film maternity, newborn, motherhood, and family sessions for creative, thoughtful mothers who are tired of generic photos. Together we design sessions around your real life so you can actually see yourself in the story your kids will remember.

I work with families in Seattle and Tacoma who want honest, artful images, a calm experience, and real support from the first email to the final print.

What You Can Expect From Me

Working together feels simple and supported.

  • You don’t have to show up with a full vision – we build it together

  • You’re not pushed into poses that don’t feel like you

  • Your photos look like your actual family, not a trend

Every session is photographed entirely on film for a slower, more intentional pace and a classic look that doesn’t feel dated a few years from now.

“The session was so calm, so intentional. I didn’t feel pressure to perform or pose just to be with my family. And the film images… they feel like something we’ll hold onto for decades. Like someone finally saw us the way I see us.”

How we create your photos together

Step 1. Reach out

You inquire and share what you’re hoping for, whether it is a Seattle maternity session, a Tacoma newborn session at home, or a family session with older kids. I respond with honest guidance about which option fits best.

Step 2. IN DEPTH questionnaire

You receive a questionnaire that goes beyond basic details. I ask about your family, your home, and what this season in Seattle or Tacoma feels like for you. Your answers help me plan a session that feels specific to your life.

Step 3. Collaboration and planning

We talk through ideas over email or text. We can build a simple vision board, choose locations in Seattle or Tacoma that matter to you, and plan outfits that fit how you naturally live. This is a collaborative process so you feel seen before we even start shooting.

Step 4. Session day

On session day, I meet you where you are. In-home sessions in Seattle and Tacoma are calm and flexible. Kids can be silly, clingy, or shy. You can be tired, joyful, or somewhere in between. I gently guide when needed and also step back to let real moments happen.

Step 5. Your images

You receive a curated gallery with images that reflect your story. No sorting through hundreds of near-duplicates. Just honest, thoughtful photographs of your life in Seattle or Tacoma, the way it actually feels.

What is included in every Package

No matter which package you choose, every Seattle and Tacoma booking includes:

  • Planning support so you’re not doing this alone

  • In-depth questionnaire to help me understand your family and this season

  • Collaboration by email or text to share ideas and talk through details

  • A calm, guided film session in your home or on location

  • A curated online gallery with the best images from our time together

  • Access to fine art prints and albums so your photos can live in your home, not just on a screen

Payment plans are available for all sessions, and a retainer is required to reserve your date.

Why Film?

I choose to work only with film because it changes the way I move through your session and the way your photos feel.

  • Slower, more intentional

  • Soft, timeless look

  • Less fuss, more presence

For you, that means fewer but stronger images that look like your real life and feel like something you’ll still love in twenty years.
